The month of September has turned out to be the most significant time of their famous rivalry as both the tech giants have unveiled their flagship devices. Korean smartphone maker Samsung was the first to unveil its top-notch Phablet, Galaxy Note 4. In reply the US handset manufacturer unleashed its first-ever introduction to the Phablet territory, iPhone 6 Plus.
The crown of supremacy cannot be given to a single side as Samsung and Apple do make a strong impression with the provision of most sophisticated and premium quality devices for their valued users.
We bring you a feature-wise evaluation of these two rival Phablets. The choice is yours.
The price of the devices is believed to be around Rs. 50,000.
To start with, we look at the iPhone 6 Plus, a massive 5.5 inched wide IPS screen phone with 1920×1080 pixels resolution which is also shatter-proof. In contrast, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a slightly larger screen (5.7 inch), capped with AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2560X144 pixels. Gorilla Glass is also poisoned in it.
Samsung Note 4 has a weight of almost 176 grams whereas iPhone 6 Plus is marginally slimmer at 172 grams.
When we see the lengths of both devices, we come to know that the iPhone 6 is bigger than Note 4.
The metallic design of iPhone 6 Plus gives a more charismatic and suave look in contrast to the Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4.
So far, Apple is seated in the driving seat. But a definite edge is taken by Samsung as Apple has fewer stores in the hardware department.
Samsung Note 4 is equipped with the mighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 805/Exynos Octa core with a robust 3 GB RAM, whereas, in comparison, iPhone 6 is enveloped with a dual core Apple A8 processor with 2GB RAM.
Apple has always been a winner in the camera department for its superb image quality and this time around, iPhone 6 is loaded with an 8 megapixels main shooting sensor with dual LED flash. Apple’s also places a 1.2 megapixels camera at the front of its device. On the other hand, Samsung’s Note 4possess a rear lens of 16 megapixels alongside a front-facing camera of 3.7 megapixels.
The similar thing in both the gadgets is the next generation optical image stabilization (OIS) technology.
Apple’s iPhone 6 will feature 3 different memory capacity devices namely 16 GB,64 GB and 128 GB whereas Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 will is loaded with a built-in storage space of 32GB, integrable up to 128 GB.
