The Indian arm of BlackBerry Last week, had announced that the Blackberry QWERTY smartphone Q10 will soon hit the Indian market along with the teaser snapshots. Now the Canadian company has reportedly begun sending the press invites for BB Q10 launch scheduled at New Delhi on 6 June.
Before Blackberry could officially launch its latest BlackBerry Q10, Snapdeal ,the online shopping mart has gone ahead and started taking pre-orders of QWERTY smartphone without disclosing the price. BlackBerry fans can place pre-orders at advance payment of Rupees 1,000.
BlackBerry has already launched its BB Q10 in UK and in its home market Canada this April, and it has been a success with huge sales in these regions. Q10 went out of stock in retail stores after its release with in days. The QWERTY smartphone Q10 is yet to set its foot in the US, but there are reports that BlackBerry Q10 smartphone may hit stores in the region on the very same day as it launches in India on 6 June.
BlackBerry Q10 supports a 3.1 inch HD 328 ppi display with QWERTY keypad and is powered by BlackBerry 10 OS with 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon, S4 dual core processor. Q10 packs with 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 64GB utilizing microSD card.
As of now, expected price tag of BlackBerry Q10, might be around Rs. 30,000.
BlackBerry’s first smartphone that is touchscreen, BlackBerry Z10, was launched in India in February.
