Graeme McDowell wins World Challenge trophy

Graeme McDowell ended a two year title drought to win the world challenge trophy held at Sherwood Country Club, California. The Northern Irishman finished 17 under par. He received $1 million as a winner’s cheque. Bradley was second with 69.
McDowell overcame a bad patch in the match to stay calm and eventually win. He was over the moon after his victory. He also admitted that Keegan was the main reason of his win as he pushed him to the limit. Bradley said that it was a very tough match but at the end, he played so great.
Bradley reduced McDowell’s lead to one point when he had a birdie from 15 feet but later bogeyed the par-three eighth hole. Both the players then birdied at 10th hole.  McDowell then had a birdie from 30 feet at the 11th hole to increase his lead to four points. However, he had a bogey at 13th hole and Bradley was quick to capitalize the chance to put a birdie. However McDowell saved par on 14 hole and had back to back birdies at 16th and 17th hole to win the title.
Defending champion Tiger Woods finished 5th in the tournament.
