Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC is keen to penetrate the global lucrative smartphone market with launching handy and impressive handsets one after another. This time around, the handset maker has focused the mid-range smartphone market by unleashing its new Desire 626. The phone bags a number of high-end and attractive attributes with a reasonable price tag.
The Desire 626 comes in with a massive 5 inch screen glass with 720p resolution. The design of the phone follows the traditional HTC design.
Under the hood of Desire 626, users will see a super-fast quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz with a single GB RAM. The default storage capacity of this device is 16 GB which can be expanded up to 32 GB via MicroSD. The camera department of this device consists of a main shooting sensor of 13 MP at its back whereas a supporting camera of 5 MP sits at the front of the phone with both having the capability of shooting 1080p videos.
The phone operates on customizable Android 4.4.4 KitKat which should be updated in the coming times. The phone is compatible with 3G and 4G LTE support and optional dual-SIM connectivity. A long-lasting 2,000 mAh battery adds a certain amount of credibility to the device.

With such an affordable price tag, HTC may have a leading edge over its rivals in the mid-range handset category.
