The rumors also gave hints that the company is going for an official launch of HTC W8 later this month; presumably on August 21 and American carrier Verizon will be exclusively launching this smartphone in the US. For this very purpose, HTC is also planning to organize an event on August 19 in New York City and will most probably unleash the Windows-equipped smartphone there.
However, the Dutch speculations does makes it certain that the upcoming smartphone will also get to the markets shelves in Europe sometime, but no vivid signs about the time frame were given. The European launch of this handset appears to be true due to the fact that the HTC One W8 was present at the eve of GSM Global Certification Forum with European LTE Bands 7 and 13.
