Taiwanese smartphone maker had earlier released a smaller variant of its iconic HTC One (M8). This time around, it comes up with a budgeted model of One (M8) under the name of the new One (E8).
The latest cheaper phone draws striking similarity to the mainstream smartphone, yet, some of the features in the new smartphone might be different.
The One (E8) supports a large 5 inch Super LCD3 screen glass capable of operating 1080p videos, just as the One (M8). The case of the phone might bring disappointment as it has got a plastic body in contrast to the high-class aluminum cover of the One (M8).
Under the hood of One (E8), a super-fast quad-core chipset clocked at 2.5 GHz is placed along with a couple of GB RAM. The internal capacity of the device is 8 GB capable of touching 128 GB via micro SD. The phone also operates on two SIMs at a time and capable of working with 4G LTE.
As far as the camera department of the phone is concerned, HTC deploys a high-performance 13 MP UltraPixel shooter at the back and another 5 MP camera at the front for shooting selfies and video calling facility.
The One (E8) operates on the customized version of Android kit Kat 4.2.2. A long-lasting battery of 2600 mAh offers optimized working of the phone won’t let the user down when compared to any of its rival in the market.
HTC has released this smartphone with a hefty price tag of $450 and comes initially in Red, Black and White colors. The phone is anticipated to hit the market shelves presumably by the end of this month.
