Chinese technology and smartphone heavyweight Huawei has eventually released the upgraded version of its previous iconic Ascend P6 smartphone. It took Huawei almost a year to come up with its latest mainstream device. The newest smartphone is named as the Ascend P7.
The new Ascend P7 is more identical to its past variant but this time Huawei have managed to make it bigger, sleeker and more attractive. The smartphone sports an aluminium case loaded with the display of Gorilla Glass on either sides of the device. It is a good addition to the Huawei devices as the previous P6 got scratches on its back because of an aluminum chassis.
The Ascend P7 comes with a larger screen of 5-inches which was previously 4.7-inches in P6. It is also capable of full HD video streaming.
As far as other peripherals are concerned, the P7 is loaded with a Huawei Kirin 920 1.8 GHz quad-core chipset. A RAM of 2GB and built-in memory of 16 GB which can be extended, gives more credibility to the smartphone.
When we talk of the camera, it is packed with a more improved 13 MP rear shooter. A front-facing massive 8 MP camera ensures more vivid “selfies” and video calling is served more efficiently.
The battery department has also received an upgrade. The new phone brings in a more robust battery of 2500 mAh, thus addressing the battery issues with the earlier variant P6. Huawei also employed new battery optimization technology according to which if the battery is less than 10 percent, the saving mode initiates automatically and the phone remains on for the next complete day.
Android KitKat 4.4.2 with the combination of Huawei’s-own EMUI 2.3 makes this smartphone more prone to latest features and apps. The Ascend P7 has a 4G/LTE connectivity options, which ensures super-fast browsing and video streaming on the internet.
Huawei Ascend P7 is anticipated to hit the Pakistani smartphone market from next month onwards. Its going to have a speculated price tag of Rs. 47,000. A variety of colors like black, pink and white will add glamour and value to the smartphone.
