India beats Pakistan in 2nd T20 to level the series 1-1


India beats Pakistan in 2nd T20 by 11 runs to level the series 1-1.India set a huge target of 192/5 and restricted Pakistan to 181/7.Captain Mohd Hafeez played a brilliant innings with a quick 55 of 26 balls. Yuvraj Singh was declared the Man of the Match for his superb 36 ball 72.Ashok Dinda was leading wicket taker from Indian side grabing 3 wickets and conceding 36 runs,while Pakistani bowler Umar Gul took 4 wickets for 37 runs

Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first. Indian openers started the match with a quick start and hitted Pakistani bowlers all around the stadium .Gambhir was lbw on 21 runs (11 balls) by Umar Gul after hitting him for three fours. Ajinkya Rahane also batted well and was caught and bold to Umar Gul for 28 runs of 21 balls.

India was placed well with 110/3 in 14 overs with run rate of 7.86.Yuvraj hit six of first ball of saeed Ajmal’s 15th over..But Saeed did a good comeback and restricted India to 118/2 at the end of 15th over.

In 16th over umar gul was brought back to attack.But he was also hit for four on first,third and fourth balls of 16th over by Indian captain Dhoni.Puting umar Gul under pressure.umar Gul conceded 15 runs in the over.
Hafeez bowled the 17th over where as in 18th over Yuvraj hit Tanveer for two consective sixes
and India cruised to 162/3.


Yuvraj hit three consective sixes on bowling of saeed Ajmal’s last three deliveries of 19th over.
umarGul did well in last over of inning by sending the danger man Yuvraj and Dhoni back to pavilion.Brilliant partnership between M.S. Dhoni 33 of 23 and Yuvrag Singh 72 of 36 helped the host team to pile up a huge target.

Unlike first T20 Pakistani openers Ahmed Shehzad and nasir jamshed started excellently and Pakistan score cruised to 54/0 in power play of first 6 overs.Nasir Jamshed got out for 41 (32) and Shehzad for 31 (29).Umar Akmal scored 24 of 17,Hafeez 55 of 26,Shahid Afridi 11 of 5,Kamra Akmal 5 for 3,Shoiab malik 3 and Umar Gul 5.
