Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) police launched Online FIR registration system


Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) police has been working with present Government to bring major reforms in Police setup. On the same lines KP police worked out Standing Operating Procedure (SOP) for its latest online FIR registration that can be accessed from its official police website.


It is worth mentioning that KPK IGP Ihsan Ghani launched the official police website last month. The FIR registration facility as per the SOP, will be available on the Kyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) police website. All those who want to complainant can visit the police website and just submit the FIRs by filling an online form.

After submitting the FIR form an automatic FIR ID will be generated. FIR details,as well as contact details of the complainant, will be forwarded to concerned area SHO/DPO/RPO via email.

To verify the identity of the complainant NADRA VERISYS facility will be utilized to minimize the possibility of fake FIRs.SHO after recieving the FIR will contact the complainant.  After FIR is lodged the complainant will be informed through the website, mobile/ land line numbers and email accordingly.

The instructions for complainants to fill the FIR are to be followed strictly with the fields marked (*) are mandatory to be filled. FIR ID can be used for tracking the FIR and SHO of concerned police station should be approached for completing the FIR formality.

An FIR board will overall supervise the online FIR service of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) police.

 DIG operation will be responsible for FIR’s lodged and would head the FIR Board to ensure that each and every FIR received online is implemented and timely downloaded. The board would also be responsible to ensure that the details of FIR are immediately sent to concerned SHO, DPO or RPO via telephone or wireless, email, fax. The board would ensure that the FIR is registered in concerned police station without any type of delay, the complainant is informed and all details are displayed on the website of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) police.
