Consumer electronics giant, LG is going to kick off its smartphone campaign in the mobile phone arena against market leaders like Samsung and Sony at the World Mobile Congress 2014. LG has recently revealed a teaser snapshot of its upcoming G2 Mini on social media forum, Facebook. The company plans to unleash this flagship device on 24th of February, at the eve of WMC. LG on 16 February also announced its third generation mid-range L Series smartphones namely L90, L70 and L40. The announcement came just days ahead of the MWC.

Dr. Jong-seok Park, CEO and president of LG electronics said that the new LG series will bring great experience to LG customers due to innovative design and OS which exemplifies LG’s commitment to bring the best smartphone to consumers.

However, LG has not disclosed any of the G2 Mini features, and it’s still vague to predict that will G2 Mini possess same specs as its elder brother, the G2. The teaser photo of the G2 Mini smartphone suggests that it will be considerably smaller in size as compared to the massive 5.2-inch G2 smartphone.

Analysts claim that LG has apparently mentioned the main camera on the phone intentionally in order to highlight that the Mini variant is loaded with the same top-notch camera as the G2′s. Apart from that, LG is going to offer the best in its upcoming G2 Mini as far as display ratio is concerned. The G2 mini variant will also feature keys that are placed on the rear of the phone.

LG is also eyeing to release the G Pro 2 beside the G2 Mini. It will be a massive 5.9-inch model that will battle face to face with mighty smartphones like the Galaxy Note 3 and many more.
