LG G2 has been leaked to be the next version of the Optimus G


LG upcoming G2, according to recent reports has been leaked. It is reported to be the next version of the Optimus G. CFO David Jung gave certain dates of its release earlier, August for South Korea, September for America and Europe and October for other destinations. Another executive revealed that its carriers would be Verizon besides AT&T and T-Mobile were also in the lineup for its sale rights.


The attributes of the leaked phone includes a large 5.2 inch HD display, a Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz, RAM of 2 GB, a giant 13 MP rear camera and it also supports 4G/LTE spectrum.

The LG G2 is likely to arrive on August 7th, at a New York City conference.

The LG Optimus G Pro, the previous version of LG G2, almost recorded 1 million shipments in Korea. LG is gaining its speed again in device manufacturing. The previous flagship LG Optimus LTE shipped its 1 millionth handset about seven months prior to its release. The Optimus G Pro hit that mark in a short period of time i.e. in four months.

The LG Optimus G Pro attracted consumers with its giant screen and a plethora of appealing specs after launched at the start of this year. It’s a very price conscious as compared to Samsung Galaxy S4 and loaded with a 5.5 inch HD display, Dual recording option, Multi-tasking, Quick Memo, a powerful and robust Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz and the last but not the least, a 13 MP camera at the back.

As far as the features are concerned, the G2 is almost identical to the Optimus G Pro some, except for having a powerful processor. LG G2 is light-weighted and fits easily in hands which will be a plus point for the upcoming device.
