LG G3 smartphone review


LG unveiled LG G3 recently. South Korean consumer electronics manufacturer, LG, has been trying its expertise in a number of businesses such as consumer appliances and smartphones. In the past couple of years, LG has been making its reputation very credible due to a number of quality devices it has released.

It has been earlier making Nexus handsets, but its mainstream smartphones are also winning the hearts of consumers all over the globe due to its top-notch technology, superior design and innovation and extraordinary performance. In 2013, the super hit G2, made an explosive entry to the smartphone arena and users acclaimed its worth.


This year, LG has earlier been rumored to design and launch its next variant G3 at the start but it wasn’t possible till now when LG has finally unleashed the latest LG G3, which is a very suave and eye catching device.

The latest LG G3 basically sports a plastic body identical to metal casing. The display panel is a mighty screen of 5.5 inch and doesn’t possess any bezels. This phone is also a scratch-proof device like its recent rivals Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z Ultra. It also comprises of True HD-IPS display which is quite amazing.

As far as its technical specs are concerned, a super-fast Snapdragon 801 chipset clocked at 2.5 GHz alongside a RAM of 2 MB with built-in storage capacity of 16 GB. A 3GB RAM model has internal memory of 32 GB.

A more optimized version of Android operating system is deployed in this phone whereas LG has also given special emphasis to improve the User Interface of the latest smartphone in order to make to more attractive and credible. A new feature of Smart Notice is also included which gives easy access to different services such as call reminder, task checker and auto suggestions. Some other smart apps like Wi-Fi activator whenever u are in a vicinity of its range and some health apps to make a record of your daily health needs.

The LG G3 envelops a duo of sharp shooters as a high-profile 13 MP camera capable of optical image stabilization (OIS), 4K video and an optimized autofocus facility. A secondary shooter of 2 MP is placed at the front for video calling and shooting “Selfies” sometimes. It has also been provided with Bluetooth 4.0 and 4G LTE connectivity.

The battery department has also been integrated with a more robust 3,000 mAh power battery which ensures sits long-lasting capacity. Apart from that, the phone lacks any thumb print scanner or water-resistant feature. When it comes to display tech, it hasn’t got a finger-print scanner or water-proofing.

The LG G3 is currently released in a couple of glamorous colors such as Shine Gold, Moon Violet, Metallic Black, Silk White, and Burgundy Red. The price tag of the phone hasn’t been revealed yet and is anticipated to hit markets globally in a week or so.
