Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS), 2014 attracted over 50,000 local and foreign visitors. The 10th addition of Pak auto show was visited by investors from Japan,UK, China, , Singapore, Oman, Sri Lanka, Korea, India, UAE and a number of other countries.
The three-day auto show was held at Expo Centre on Saturday. PAPS along with PAAPAM (Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts Accessories Manufacturers) organized the auto show featuring 162 national and international companies.
Pak auto show also organized extensive meetings with international buyers on last day of show. Nabeel Hashmi said that the meetings were success and foreign delegates took keen interest, helping in promotion of local exports.
Pakistan automotive Industry was promoted at show with various sectors displaying auto Parts and Systems, Tyres and Batteries, Accessories and Tuning, softwares for Management and Repair, Cars, trucks, motorcycles, Rickshaws, Tractors as well as light commercial vehicles.
Leading Pakistan automotive players like Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, Millat Tractors, and Shell sponsored the Show.
The PAAPAM Chairman Usman Malik said that first price was won by University of Central Punjab whereas FAST/NU and Punjab University clinched the second. Beaconhouse National University (BNU), National College of Arts (NCA), and Karachi Art also took part in the competition.
