Pakistan’s premiere telecommunication services provider, PTCL, has inked a deal with Polycom India to offer video conferencing and data collaboration service for the it’s valued clients. According to the terms and conditions of this agreement, PTCL will now work as a reseller of Polycom endpoints and managed facilities, a press release issued after the pact mentions. However, financial aspects of this groundbreaking accord were not disclosed by any of the parties.
PTCL, a state-centered corporation is the front-runner in Pakistan’s telecommunication infrastructure in offer state-of-the-art fixed and mobile telephonic utilities and broadband services all across the country. The new agreement between PTCL and Polycom India will assist Pakistani entrepreneurs and organizations in working in enterprise-grade video collaboration.
Polycom stated in a statement after the deal as, “Considering the yearly subscription service model, PTCL can easily regulate investment in video collaboration as the scale and needs of their organization change, supporting business development and growth at any speed,”.
The Nasdaq-listed Polycom had managed to post yearly revenue of approximately $1.37 billion last year.
