Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and Askari Bank’s Islamic Banking Services Division has signed a MoU to facilitate Islamic Ijarah and Musharaka facilities. These facilities will be provided to PTCL employees at specially designed rates.
PTCL Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), Syed Mazhar Hussain, signed the MoU from PTCL side while Fahd Sardar Khan, Country Head of Islamic Banking Askari Bank signed the MoU as Askari representative to provide Islamic banking services to PTCL employees at discounted rates .
The agreement was signed by Syed Mazhar Hussain, Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) PTCL and Fahd Sardar Khan, Country Head, Islamic Banking Askari Bank Limited at PTCL head office in Islamabad. Senior management from both the organizations was also present at the occasion.
The MoU will enable PTCL employees to get the Shariah compliant products following framework of Islamic Ijarah which includes cars, motor bikes as well as home financing on specially discounted rates.
Syed Mazhar Hussain, CHRO PTCL on the occasion said that , “PTCL strongly believes in the welfare of its employees, and it is PTCL’s vision and commitment to improve the employees life and facilitate them”.
Fahd Sardar Khan, Islamic Banking Askari Bank Limited Country Head,termed the PTCL initiative as a huge success for Askari Bank as well as PTCL and marked it as a milestone achievement.
