Its Smart Watch devices might not have got a very warm welcome among customers but it hasn’t lost its confidence to come up with innovative smart watches one after another.
For now, it has got a massive edge to gain a decisive domination in the market share, with its recent SmartWatch 3 working on Android Wear, version 4.3 Jelly Bean. The timepiece is worth of $250, the same price tag of Moto 360.
The smartwatch 3 brings in a couple of eye-catching, sporty-colored cases, and boosts a 1.6″ 320 x 320 trans-reflective LCD screen glass. It features silicon covers, which are replaceable and can be purchased separately. The watch has a steel rear.
The SmartWatch 3 has a long-lasting battery which can be utilized up to 2 days. It also features an IP68-certification like other Sony’s recent smartphones, meaning that it is water and dust proof.
Under the hood of SmartWatch 3, user will come across a super-fast quad-core chip set clocked at 1.2GHz along with 512 MB RAM and a built-in capacity of 4 GB. The wearable includes a number of new and quality attributes such as fitness tracking or listening to music via headphones, besides working as a standalone gadget. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC.
The smartwatch 3 is also familiar with voice input and is also prone gentle vibration as soon as an alert comes. Google Now is integrated for internet browsing and several different functions.
