Telenor Pakistan has expanded its 3G network to 10 more cities.Telenor continues its ambition of ‘Internet for All’, and has started the second phase of its commercial rollout of the 3G services in Pakistan. In the second phase, Telenor has launched its 3G services in Kharian,SaraiAlamgir, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujrat, Sialkot, Peshawar, Abbottabad, and Sargodha. These cities are included in 3G coverage areas in the month of July 2014.
The 3G services are offered for free by Telenor Pakistan’s in SaraiAlamgir, Kharian, Gujranwala, and Gujrat, whereas customers in Sialkot,Multan,Abbottabad,Peshawar, Faisalabad, and Sargodha will enjoy free 3G trial services till end of July 2014.
Telenor is offering 50 MBs of data under the free 3G trial offer, whereas Data services on the current 2G will be charged as usual.
Irfan Wahab Khan, Telenor’s Chief Marketing Officer, Telenor Pakistan while commenting on the 3G rollout in additional cities said, “Telenor is delighted to launch its 3G services in additional 10 more cities in its second phase of commercial rollout. The company believe that high quality mobile internet is essential for growth of Pakistan.
Telenor Pakistan has currently the largest 3G network in Pakistan which it is expanding with time.
