The developing news in the Manchester United camp is that Sir Alex Ferguson is planning to bring back his former Portugese striker Cristiano Ronaldo. The officials of Manchester United including Sir Alex Ferguson have met with sports wear giant Nike to plan a deal to bring back the in form striker. Nike is the brand which sponsors Ronaldo’s shoes and other sports goods excluding the kit of Real Madrid which is sponsored by Adidas. Nike is also the sponsor of Manchester United kit and the renewal deal between the two has been finalized in London. However, in the renewal deal meeting, plan to get Ronaldo back to Manchester was also discussed.
According to sources, the results are positive and the club is a step closer to the target of bringing back Ronaldo. Moreover, it is learnt that Nike is also interested in moving Ronaldo back to his former club as both use its logo but the Real Madrid kit is sponsored by rival brand Adidas.
The move to get back Ronaldo to Manchester United camp may cost £65 million at least. To pay such a huge amount, the club may be forced to sell a player like Nani. According to the claims of a newspaper, Manchester United is also interested in another Portugese star player. So far, no response from Cristiano Ronaldo has been heard about the interest shown by Manchester United.
