Warid is all set to launch 4G LTE in Pakistan

Emarati-centered cellular operator, Warid telecom, has been making the headlines for a couple of days now. Its users are now patiently waiting as it was announced to launch its state-of-the-art 4G LTE services in Pakistan by investing a mighty $400 million in this regard. For this purpose, it has also mentioned to have signed up leading telecom and LTE infrastructure vendor, Ericson, to roll-out its next generation facility all over the country.

Prior to this recent eagerness from Warid telecom to get a 3G/4G license, it collected flamboyant and massive criticism from masses when it refused to be a part of the April’s next generation auctions in Pakistan. After putting so much investment and efforts to get the next level of technology for its network, Warid now awaits a green signal from the regulator, PTA, to deploy its new infrastructure as soon as possible.

However, latest claims from the sources familiar with the story within speculate that Warid has made up its mind to launch its 4G services by September, this ongoing, provided that its gets an approval from the PTA.
