ZTE launches Grand S3 with Eyeprint ID biometric system


Chinese telecom and handset behemoth ZTE has come up with the next level of innovation for tech-savvy enthusiasts as its new smartphone is equipped with eye scanning feature. The new Grand S3 is the planet’s inaugural mobile phone with Eyeprint ID biometric system.


The latest Eyeprint ID system on the new Grand S3 is as good as it can scan both your eyes respectively. This dual eye-scanning feature was designed by EyeVerify and can be utilized in a plethora of applications and processes comprising of online transactions, unlocking and authorization. An 8 MP camera at the front supports the process of eye scan.

Under the hood of new Grand S3, user can find a massive screen panel of 5.5 inch display with 1080p resolution. It operates on the Android 4.4 KitKat which can be personalized. A super-fast Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at a 2.5 GHz along with Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU adds credibility to the device. Other peripherals include a 3 GB RAM and built-in storage capacity of 16 GB which can be expanded.

The camera department is loaded with a main shooting sensor of 16 megapixel camera with dual-LED Flash. Another 8 megapixel camera sits at the front primarily for the Eyeprint ID purpose.

The Grand S3 is up to date with the new Wi-Fi ac, LTE and GPS connectivity options. The provision of Dolby Sound and a 3,100 mAh long-lasting battery makes it a serious competitor amongst its contemporaries.
As far as the price tag of this valuable handset is concerned, it will kick off for 430 Euros initially. The phone will hit the global market shelves in the coming days.
